Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPN) superintendent engineer Rajesh Gupta said to The Times of India: “Currently there are two 16/20MVA and two 12.5/16MVA capacity transformers carrying the load at the Sector 34 substation. According to the plan, these two 12.5/16MVA capacity transformers will be upgraded by two more 16/20MVA high-capacity transformers.”

“Since these transformers are already in our inventory, no additional expense will be incurred for procuring them apart from labour charges for installing them.” he added.
