Wicor to move production to sites across north and east Europe

The production of transformer insulation of Weidmann Electrical Technology (Wicor subsidiary) has suffered fall in prices on the transformer market and as a result, a cheaper site will be developed in Croatia, while others are planning relocation to sites in the north and east of Europe.
Last year, Wicor group achieved a turnover of CHF 563 million ($587 million) and had workforce of nearly 3,000 employees, reports Bilan.
