USA, New Hampshire: A winter storm hit the Granite State and caused traffic power outages across New Hampshire.

According to Patch, nearly 200,000 customers were reportedly without power last night due to wet, heavy snow hitting the state. Heavy snow caused transformers to explode in Concord. Power companies did not manage to restore power supply last night.

Unitil stated: “Due to the storm severity and widespread damage, we’re assessing damage and won’t know until the storm passes. Crews are working through the night.”

PSNH also extended its restoration saying: “Estimated times are being extended as crews work to restore power. We will continue to work through the night to get everyone back up ASAP.”

At the time the statements were made, about 30,000 customers were without power in the capital region.
