Delays are expected on the M4 in Wiltshire, UK tomorrow due to the transport of a massive transformer from Didcot power station, Oxfordshire to Avonmouth Docks in Bristol.

The load weighs almost 640 tonnes and is nearly 300ft long.

The transporter is setting off from Didcot this evening after the move was cancelled last weekend. It is expected to travel along the M4 after 10 a.m. at 4 mph before turning off at junction 18 towards A420.

The load will take up two lanes as it measures 16 ft in width so congestion is expected on the westbound carriageway.
