Yakutia substation upgraded with new power transformers

Russia, Yakutia: Energy distributor DRSK invested $3 million into the reconstruction of 110 kV substation Coal 38, which has been put into operation in Neryungri, a Siberian city in the Sakha Republic, Russia.

 


Russia, Yakutia: Energy distributor DRSK invested $3 million into the reconstruction of 110 kV substation Coal 38, which has been put into operation in Neryungri, a Siberian city in Yakutia, Russia.

The project which took place in two stages included installation of a power transformer and the operational control centre in the first phase, and dismantling of the old equipment and the installation of an additional power transformer in the second, reports Vostok-Media.

The Coal 38 substation powers Inaglinsky coal complex and provides power supply to the oil pipeline Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean (ESPO).
