Severnaya substation reconstruction enters stage three

Russia, North Caucasus: Stavropolenergo, a branch of the distribution grid company MRSK North Caucasus, continues works on the modernisation of the 110/10/6 kV Severnaya substation in Stavropol region, with stages three and four to get underway.

The third stage of this reconstruction project includes the acquisition and installation of a new 63 MVA power transformer T-1, reports EnergyLand.

The fourth stage will, among other works, include dismantling the existing DC board and auxiliary board and installation of new boards, and installation and commissioning of microprocessor transformer protection terminals for power transformers one and two.

The third and the fourth stage will be implemented over 2015 and 2016.
