Enbridge to pay for damage after a transformer incident
Enbridge Energy confirmed it will pay for damages after a crew dropped a tree on power lines yesterday and blew several transformers in the process in Marysville, Michigan, US, The Times Herald of Port Huron reports.

Enbridge Energy confirmed it will pay for damages after a crew dropped a tree on power lines yesterday and blew several transformers in the process in Marysville, Michigan, US, The Times Herald of Port Huron reports.
The incident happened when the crew was making preparations for a pipeline replacement project. They knocked out power to more than 500 electricity customers and prompted several Marysville residents to call 911 because of smoke in homes.
Project manager Doug Reichley said Enbridge Energy paid for hotel rooms for about 20 people and Thanksgiving dinner for about 50 people.
The project is a replacement for Calgary, Alberta-based Enbridge’s Line 6B, running between Sarnia, Ontario to Griffith, Ind.
