Kyzyl -Asker substation to be modernised

For the first time in over 55 years, the Kyzyl -Asker substation is to get new modern equipment which will supply electricity to the western part of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This was confirmed during the National Network of Kyrgyzstan press tour yesterday.

For the first time in over 55 years, the Kyzyl -Asker substation is to get new modern equipment which will supply electricity to the western part of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This was confirmed during the National Network of Kyrgyzstan press tour yesterday.

This year, the substation will be upgraded with two new 20 MVA transformers already delivered to the station and ready to be installed.

Before the upgrade, the equipment overload at the station was 10%. More powerful transformers will ensure trouble-free operation of Kyzyl -Asker for a few more years.
