Az-Zour North transformer station inaugurated in Kuwait
Kuwait: Kuwait's Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water has inaugurated Az-Zour North power transformer station, whose construction costs amounted to $147 million.
Kuwait: Kuwait’s Minister of Public Works and Minister of Electricity and Water has inaugurated Az-Zour North power transformer station, whose construction costs amounted to $147 million.
The station comprising four 750 MW power transformers is one of the biggest of its kind in the country, designed to receive electricity from the Az-Zour North Power Plant later this year, reports Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The station will start receiving 230 MW of electricity by the end of July, which will gradually be raised to 1,500 MW.
