By the end of 2013, the IDGC Vologdaenergo North-West  branch will take the first steps in modernisation of the NPS 110/35/10 kV in Nyuksenitsa district, Vologda region, Russia

Within the reconstruction plan, the contractor will construct the 10 kV outdoor/indoor switchgear building and prepare the power transformer foundation by the end of 2013. Plans for the implementation of the power company project should be realised in 2014  and include the reconstruction of 110 kV and 35 kV outdoor switchgears, general construction work regarding the enclosure arrangement, construction of  the oil header and oil sump system, the system of passages within the substation territory, replacement of the existing power transformers and modernisation of relay protection automation devices,  automated process control system and  automated informative and measurement system for commercial electric energy accounting.

Reconstruction of the NPS 110/35/10 kV substation should enhance electric power supply reliability to the consumers, especially Vologda oil pipeline directorate.

The cost of the investment project for the development of electric power grid in Vologda Region will be 265.1 million rubles.
