Siemens and PEL to close deal on transformers trade
Pakistan, Lahore: Siemens Pakistan is close to finalising the deal with Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), Pakistani manufacturer of electrical equipment, for the sale of its transformers business in Karachi.
Pakistan, Lahore: Siemens Pakistan is close to finalising the deal with Pak Elektron Limited (PEL), Pakistani manufacturer of electrical equipment, for the sale of its transformers business in Karachi.
According to industry sources, the two companies have finalised all matters in this regard, while some formalities and legal requirements are still in progress. Formal declaration of this agreement will be announced soon, reports The Nation.
PEL is the largest manufacturer of engineering goods in Pakistan and provides products such as distribution transformers and energy meters to power utilities, industries and individual customers.
