Financial bid starts for a new El Bolson transformer

On Tuesday at 10, the financial bid to purchase a power transformer for El Bolson, Argentina has started.
More than 5.5 million pesos will double the current capacity and enable interconnection of the city and the national grid powered by the provincial government through la Secretaria de Energia Electrica (the Ministry of Electric Power).
The bidding process was opened for purchase of a 20 MVA power transformer, which will replace the current 10 MVA transformer station in Coihue which supplies power to Comarca.
Artrans SA , Tadeo Czerweny SA and Tubos Trans Electric (TTE) SA have put the financial offer for the project.
The investment is part of an improvement work being executed in stages in conjunction with the province of Chubut, based on an agreement signed in September last year by Governor Alberto Weretilneck and Martin Buzzi . The aim is to complete a coordinated series of works that will improve the quality and safety of electric service in the Andean region on the 42nd parallel south.
