Russia, Vladivostok: In the Russian city of Vladivostok, a fire broke out at two substations after explosions, leaving hundreds of buildings without power.

The Telegram channel Astra reported that, according to local residents, substations on Novozhilova Street and Bukhta Tikhaya were on fire, but the cause is unknown. Reportedly, several buildings and around 250 homes are without electricity.

Also, according to information from the Far Eastern Distribution Network Company, the local power company, two transformers were disconnected at a different substation, and a flash was recorded in the closed distribution device. Fires in Russia at various facilities have become more frequent since the beginning of the war with Ukraine. In regions close to Ukraine, this is often caused by drone strikes.
