Comac C919 and new Gulfstream planes to use Crane’s transformers

USA, Washington: Crane Aerospace & Electronics has announced it has received orders for its Eldec transformer rectifier units (TRUs) from Parker Aerospace, a manufacturer of aerospace components, and Gulfstream, a business-jet aircraft manufacturer.

 


USA, Washington: Crane Aerospace & Electronics has announced it has received orders for its Eldec transformer rectifier units (TRUs) from Parker Aerospace, a manufacturer of aerospace components, and Gulfstream, a business-jet aircraft manufacturer.

Parker has selected auto transformer rectifier units for the Comac C919 narrowbody, while Gulfstream will be using Crane’s transformer rectifier units for its new G500 and G600 business jets, reports AIN Online.

Five of the units Gulfstream will use to provide DC bus power throughout the G500 and G600 jets.
