New 132 kV substation commissioned in Sharjah, UAE
UAE, Sharjah: Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has announced commissioning of a new 132 KV Moeileh Substation in the industrial area of Sharjah, the third largest city in the UAE.
UAE, Sharjah: Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has announced commissioning of a new 132 KV Moeileh Substation in the industrial area of Sharjah, the third largest city in the UAE.
The new substation with power transformers and associated electrical equipment has been built at the cost of over $27 million, reports Khaleej Times.
The substation is expected to achieve a better network stability and reliable power supply in the emirate, as well as meet the projected surge in power demand.
