The job fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Wendell Mitchell Conference Center on the campus of LBW Community College.

Hyundai Power Transformers USA’s Montgomery plant, which opened in November 2011, manufactures medium and large transformers supplied to locations throughout the United States, Canada and South America.

Ryan Stanford, senior recruiter at Hyundai Power Transformers USA, said the company is looking to fill 200 positions during the next two years.

“Right now we have a little less than 300 employees and our facility could hold 400 to 580,” he said.

Positions offered include: welders, with a 3G, 4G, 5G or 6G certification, production spray painters, CNC/CAD design programmers, fabrication layout experience and final assembly/mechanical installation experience.

Starting salary for fabrication team members range from $11-$15 an hour plus full benefit package available for full-time members.
