Power shutdown in Jammu due to transformer tests and maintenance work

India, Jammu, July 22: A shutdown of the 1x50MVA 132/33KV Power Grid Station Mohanpur is planned for July 24, 2015 from 9 am to 3 pm. The reason for the shutdown is the measurement of capacitance and tan delta of 132KV HV bushing and winding of 50 MVA, 132/33KV power transformer, as well as preventive maintenance works of various equipments installed in the 132KV line bays at the station.

During the shutdown period the power transmission to the areas of Basholi, Mahanpur, Boond, Bani and partially Billawar Tehsil will remain affected.

The shutdown is subject to fair weather condition.
