SPDCL to build nine new indoor substations in Vijayawada
India, Andhra Pradesh: The indoor substation being built on the Museum Road in Vijayawada in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India dedicated for the Chief Minister’s camp office is in advanced stages of completion and is likely to be ready by August 15.
India, Andhra Pradesh: The indoor substation being built on the Museum Road in Vijayawada in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India dedicated for the Chief Minister’s camp office is in advanced stages of completion and is likely to be ready by August 15.
The substation will have two transformers of 5 MVA capacity each and six feeders, which will secure round-the-clock power supply to the camp office located a few hundred metres away, reports The Hindu.
According to official sources at Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (SPDCL), this is only one of the nine such substations to be set up in the city.
