The Philippines, Negros Occidental: Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO) has installed a new 30 MVA power transformer at its Alijis substation in Bacolod City.
The 42-ton equipment replaced the existing 34-ton 30 MVA power transformer, reports Visayan Daily Star.
The replacement of the transformer is part of CENECO’s maintenance activity to prevent possible power interruptions as the old transformer was rapidly deteriorating.
