Buryatia increases energy output

Summarising the work of the energy sector in 2013, Deputy Minister of Energy Development, Transport and Road Management R.B. Yevgeniy Goryunov, noted that there have been significant changes.
Within the framework of “Development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation for the period 2011-2016” the construction of 35 kV overhead line has been completed at the Oymur – Sukhaya 35 substation. After permission is obtained, the line will be put into operation. This will ensure the quality and reliability of electricity supply in Kabansky District.
This year, a MRSK branch Buryatenergo completed the reconstruction of 110/10 kV Oktyabr’skaya substation in Ulan-Ude, which has been “closed” for a long time due to construction of new facilities.
The replacement of power transformer substation equipment enabled smoother operation of facilities such as the new Oncological Department of Semashko Hospital .
Following the reconstruction of 35 kV line, Gorsad substation started operating at full capacity.
