Pakistan’s CDWP approves Sahiwal power evacuation project

Pakistan, Islamabad: Pakistan’s Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved the project of evacuation of power from the proposed 1,320 MW coal-fired power plant near the city of Sahiwal to upcountry load centres.

 


Pakistan, Islamabad: Pakistan’s Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved the project of evacuation of power from the proposed 1,320 MW coal-fired power plant near the city of Sahiwal to upcountry load centres.

The scope of the project will include addition of a 500/200 kV power transformer with a capacity of 600 MVA along with the requisite electrical equipment, laying of 0.5 km transmission line and installation of the associated equipment.
