Iran made only $74M out of transformer exports in 2014

Iran, Tehran: Head of the Iranian Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has announced that Iran exported power transformers worth $74 million in 2014.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2nd International Transformer Conference and Exhibition (ITCE) in Tehran, Hassan Ghafoori-Fard said he believed Iranian transformers can beat international rivals in near future, reports Trend News Agency.
According to Ghafoori-Fard, Iran is currently capable of manufacturing transformers with power ratings of up to 400 kV and plans to produce 750 kV transformers in near future.
