Ameren installs 345 kV transformer to increase service reliability
USA, Missouri: A $15 million expansion of the Bland substation north of Owensville, Missouri has been underway, with an aim to increase reliability of service to residents in Gasconade County and five surrounding counties served by Ameren Missouri.

The project which includes the installation of a 345 kV power transformer will benefit residents in Gasconade, Franklin, Osage, Maries, Miller and eastern Camden counties, reports Gasconade County Republican.
The power transformer was manufactured by SPX Transformer Solutions in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
