Engineers and technicians repair 50-year-old transformer
India, Chhattisgarh: A team of engineers and technicians from Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company (CSPTC) have managed to repair a power transformer 125 MVA manufactured 50 years ago.
India, Chhattisgarh: A team of engineers and technicians from Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company (CSPTC) have managed to repair a power transformer 125 MVA manufactured 50 years ago.
It will take around 12 days for the team to bring the old transformer into working condition, reports The Pioneer.
The transformer was manufactured by a Japan-based company and installed at Bhilal-based 220 kV substation in 1967. At the time, it was the first transformer of its type installed in the state.
