Kenya Power sets up 26 transformers in Thika city

Kenya, Kiambu: The Kenya Power Company has recently put up 26 transformers in Thika city East and Thika West districts in Kiambu County, aiming to increase power supply.

 


Kenya, Kiambu: The Kenya Power Company has recently put up 26 transformers in Thika city East and Thika West districts in Kiambu County, aiming to increase power supply.

The transformers are expected to boost power connectivity in schools and hospitals in the two areas, reports Hivisasa.

The company’s Managing Director Dr Ben Chumo said the company would ensure that inland areas that have never been connected to the national power grid get connected under a new programme rolled out by the government.
