Lenenergo commissions mobile substation in St. Petersburg

Russia, St. Petersburg: Russian electricity company Lenenergo has commissioned a 110/10 kV mobile modular substation Gagarin in the Moskovsky District of St. Petersburg with an aim to provide additional and more reliable power supply to the district.

 


Russia, St. Petersburg: Russian electricity company Lenenergo has commissioned a 110/10 kV mobile modular substation Gagarin in the Moskovsky District of St. Petersburg with an aim to provide additional and more reliable power supply to the district.

The substation consists of four trailers, two of which carry power transformers of 25 MVA each and a 110 kV switchgear, and the other two carrying an indoor switchgear 10 kV, reports RusCable.

The substation was fully assembled at the factory, installed on trailers and transported to the site for commissioning.
