XD Group develops China’s first high performance transformer
China: China XD Group Corporation, Chinese manufacturer of high voltage and ultra-high voltage transmission and distribution equipment, recently developed country's first high performance 220 kV 70 MVA series transformer, according to China Daily.
China, Xian: China XD Group Corporation (former Xi’an Electrical Machinery Manufacturing Company), a national manufacturer of high voltage and ultra-high voltage transmission and distribution equipment, recently developed country’s first high performance 220 kV 70 MVA series transformer, according to China Daily.
The transformer, which passed the routine test and type test in September, has been designed and developed as the key equipment for a power engineering project of unified power flow controller (UPFC) in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province.
The development of the product has laid the foundation for the follow-up research, and development and manufacturing of higher voltage series transformers by China XD.
