Accra West communities powered up with 16 new transformers
Ghana, Accra: Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has installed 16 new transformers in different areas within the Accra West region to improve power supply to those areas.
Ghana, Accra: Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has installed 16 new transformers in different areas within the Accra West region to improve power supply to those areas.
The transformers have been installed between January and this month with an aim to increase capacity to meet growing electricity demand, put an end to the rupturing of low voltage fuses, thereby improving the reliability of power supply in the communities.
The transformers have been installed in the areas of Dansoman, Weija, Darkuman Nyamekye, Joma-Bortianor, Fadama, Awudome, Kantamanto, CMB, Korle-Gonno, Chantan Scorpion Junction, Akweteyman Motorway, as well as the Nsawam Market, Asuotwene.
