RusHydro to replace 61% of its transformer park by 2025

Russia, Moscow: General Directors of RusHydro Public Company, Russia’s largest hydropower producer, and Power Machines OJSC, manufacturer of electrical equipment including power transformers, held a working meeting in Moscow to discuss prospects for future cooperation of the two companies.

 


Russia, Moscow: General Directors of RusHydro Public Company, Russia’s largest hydropower producer, and Power Machines OJSC, manufacturer of electrical equipment including power transformers, held a working meeting in Moscow to discuss prospects for future cooperation of the two companies.

The meeting was held with respect to RusHydro’s long-term program of complex modernization, which prescribes technical re-equipping of generating objects of RusHydro and plans the replacement of 61% of its overall transformer park, Power Machines states in the press release.

With the period of realization by 2025, the program also includes replacement of 55% of overall turbine park of the company and 42% of its overall generator park.

At the moment, Power Machines is the main supplier of hydraulic station power equipment for RusHydro.
