New transformer increases capacity at Fryazino

Russia, Moscow Oblast: MOESK has completed reconstruction of the 110 kV Fryazino substation in the city of Fryazino in the Moscow Oblast.

 


Russia, Moscow Oblast: MOESK has completed reconstruction of the 110 kV Fryazino substation in the city of Fryazino in the Moscow Oblast.

The upgrade project included installation of an additional, fourth, Siemens 110 kV power transformer with the capacity of 40 MVA, increasing the installed capacity from 120 MVA to 160 MVA, reports RusCable.

In addition, auxiliary 630 kVA transformers have been replaced with 1000 kVA transformers.

The substation was put into operation in 1954 and is a source of power for over 47,000 customers in this city.
