Discom to set up 34 new transformers in Gurgaon

India, Haryana: India’s power company Discom is planning to install 34 transformers across all substations in the city of Gurgaon, Haryana to ensure consistent power supply during summer.

 


India, Haryana: India’s power company Discom is planning to install 34 transformers across all substations in the city of Gurgaon, Haryana to ensure consistent power supply during summer.

The new power transformers will be installed as an addition to the existing transformers to help strengthen the system and ensure uninterrupted power supply, reports The Times of India.

Approval for the transformers has already been received and the installation will start soon.

The cost of the project is expected to amount to $13 million.
