Basadre transformer to be installed in February

Territorial head of Economy and Industry, Ignacio Rial, announced that a new power transformer for Basadre, Spain will be installed in February to supply electricity to 75 residents.

Territorial head of Economy and Industry, Ignacio Rial, announced that a new power transformer for Basadre, Spain will be installed in February to supply electricity to 75 residents.

Rial made the announcement during a visit to Agolada yesterday, accompanied by the regional delegate, José Manuel Cores Tourís. The project cost of around € 62,000 will be  covered by the Gas Natural Unión Fenosa (Natural Gas Union).

Cores Tourís took advantage of his presence in the town yesterday to inquire about the meeting between the power company representatives and the residents affected by the expropriation regarding the new transformer and new power line installation in the Basadre parish.

The new line will provide more power to the parish where new farms will be build in the future. The residents of Basadre demanded the installation of  the new line and the transformer to end the disruption of electricity supply in the area.
