L&T wins $87M orders in Ethiopia and South East Asia

India: Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has won orders worth $87 million in the international markets.

 


India: Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution Business has won orders worth $87 million in the international markets.

The company has been awarded a contract in Ethiopia from the Ethiopian Electric Power for the construction of a 400/230/15 kV substation and three 230/15 kV substations, with power transformers and associated electrical equipment, at various locations, L&T said in a press release.

The project is funded by the French Development Agency.

Another order has been secured from a customer in South East Asia for the erection of a high-voltage substation, which will be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction basis.
