Ukrenergo purchases 22 units and announces new transformer tender
Ukraine: Ukrainian energy utility Ukrenergo has signed a contract with the national transformer manufacturer Zaporozhtransformator (ZTR) for the purchase of 22 units of power transformers and shunt reactors.

The contract worth $36 million has been awarded in order to obtain modern equipment for 330/750 kV substations, the key power stations of the United Energy System of Ukraine, the utility said in a statement.
The company has also announced it will invite new tenders in June or July 2016 for the supply of another 10 to 15 power transformers, according to Interfax.
