Russia: Russian transformer manufacturer Togliatti Transformer has produced a 500 kV transformer for the customer in Kazakhstan.
The 385-tonne transformer has been manufactured for the Aksu power plant to replace the existing equipment as part of the plant modernization project, reports Mangazeya.
The unit has undergone a full range of standard and acceptance tests and is ready for shipment.
