Kazakhstan and Iran sign deals worth over $2B

Kazakhstan, Astana: During the presidential visit of Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Tehran, Iran, companies from the two countries signed more than 60 contracts valued at over $2 billion.

 


Kazakhstan, Astana: During the presidential visit of Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Tehran, Iran, companies from the two countries signed more than 60 contracts valued at over $2 billion.

A large number of agreements was signed for import and export of different products, including the Kazakhstan’s company Alageum Electric which signed an agreement to supply transformers and transformer oil to Iran, reports The Times of Central Asia.

Kazakh and Iranian partners also agreed to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 50 MW in the Almaty region in Kazakhstan.
