United Electric Grid of Moscow has completed the next stage of upgrading one of the key substations in the city centre - the 220/110 kV Presnya of the Central Electric Network.

United Electric Grid of Moscow has completed the next stage of upgrading one of the key substations in the city centre – the 220/110 kV Presnya of the Central Electric Network.
The reconstruction began in 2007 and its completion has been planned for 2018. Despite the decline in investment financing, the company maintains the pace of reconstruction of all its facilities. Preliminary estimated total cost of the Presnya substation upgrade, which will include the power transformer replacement, is 4 billion rubles ($ 120 million).
