India: Indian transformer manufacturer Marsons announced that the company is in the final stage of discussions for taking over a considerable stake in a Dubai-based LLC Trading Company in order to expand on the Middle East transformers market.
The Dubai based trading company has a strong presence in the Middle East and GCG region, and is quite active in Iraq, which is a highly potential market for transformers, reports The Financial Times.
Marsons expects this deal will also help in its plans to set up a manufacturing base in the UAE region.
