Power Machines manufactured first power transformer for RusHydro HPP

Russia. St. Petersburg: Transformer manufacturer Power Machines - Toshiba. High-voltage transformers has manufactured the first 220 kV, 200 MVA transformer for the Russian hydroelectric company RusHydro following the agreement on cooperation between the two companies.

 


Russia. St. Petersburg: Transformer manufacturer Power Machines – Toshiba. High-voltage transformers has manufactured the first 220 kV, 200 MVA transformer for the Russian hydroelectric company RusHydro following the agreement on cooperation between the two companies.

The manufacturer has successfully tested the transformer, which is now ready for shipment to RusHydro’s Ust-Srednekanskaya hydro power plant.

Another project under way for RusHydro is manufacture of four 500 kV auto transformers with the capacity of 267 MVA, for the reconstruction of the Volga Hydroelectric Power Station.

These orders form part of RusHydro’s long-term programme on re-equipment of its generating facilities.
