BHEL Bhopal tests special split winding transformer
India, Madhya Pradesh: India’s transformer manufacturer BHEL Bhopal has successfully tested a special type split winding 400 kV transformer produced for the client Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
India, Madhya Pradesh: India’s transformer manufacturer BHEL Bhopal has successfully tested a special type split winding 400 kV transformer produced for the client Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
The 100 MVA 400 kV transformer has been manufactured for the 2×600 MW Singareni thermal power project, and is a compact size transformer used exclusively to feed power to special motors and fans in large thermal power plants, reports The Pioneer.
This is the highest rating 400 kV station transformer short-circuit tested in India by High Power Test Laboratory of CPRI Bangalore.
