The 110 kV substation at Mattannur in Chavassery will provide electricity to the airport through the new power transformer, reports Mathrubhumi.
The $2.4 million project includes works on the bay extension, construction of transformers, and cable works, all of which have been completed. The transmission trials are scheduled for next week.
