Dewa awards $20M substation contract
UAE, Dubai: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has awarded a construction contract worth $20.30 million for the development of the 132/11 kV substation at Warsan 2 in Dubai, UAE.
The substation, to be equipped with power transformers and associated electrical equipment, will be connected to the current electricity network, reports Trade Arabia.
The new substation is part of Dewa’s efforts to further develop electricity transmission system and continuously expand electricity supplies.
