Speco wins $135M contract for 34 transformers
China: Shandong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. has won the bidding for the supply of 14 sets of converter transformers and 20 sets of dry-type transformers to the Qingzhou Station of the Jarud-Qingzhou ±800kV UHV DC project.
China: Shandong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. has won the bidding for the supply of 14 sets of converter transformers and 20 sets of dry-type transformers to the Qingzhou Station of the Jarud-Qingzhou ±800kV UHV DC project.
The total amount of the contract is USD 134.86 million.
So far, SPECO has undertaken 11 UHV DC projects and received the orders of 99 UHV DC converter transformers showing that batched scale of SPECO UHV product supply has risen with outstanding contributions for the development of global power industry.
