This time the transformer fire engulfed an FPL facility in Dania Beach. No one lost power, according to FPL, and the cause of the fire is unknown, reports Miami Herald.
The exploded transformer is one of the main transformers on the site.
As Transformers Magazine earlier reported, less than two weeks ago a transformer fire at an FPL’s West Dade substation poured smoke over Medley and Virginia Gardens, causing a power interruption to tens of thousands of customers.
