BTW wins transformer contract with National Grid UK

Chinese power transformer manufacturer Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co., Ltd. (BTW) has become the first Chinese transformer manufacturer to win an equipment supply contract with National Grid UK (NG).

 

Chinese power transformer manufacturer Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co., Ltd. (BTW) has become the first Chinese transformer manufacturer to win an equipment supply contract with National Grid UK (NG).

NG has awarded BTW with a supply and service contract for one 400/132 kV 240 MVA autotransformer, which is a milestone for BTW on the way of internationalization, the company told Transformers Magazine.

NG owns and operates electricity transmission grids in the UK and North-Eastern parts of USA.
