Lenenergo to modernise Lembolovo substation

Russia, Leningrad Oblast (Region): Lenenergo, part of the Rossetti Group, launched a large-scale modernisation of the 35/10 kV substation Lembolovo.
The upgrade of the network will include replacement of the substation power transformers, installation of modern switchgear, circuit breakers, current transformers and protection relay. The total capacity of the substation will increase from 12.6 to 20 MVA. Completion of the reconstruction is planned for May 2014, according to Advis.
The substation reconstruction will significantly improve reliability of the power supply and connection of new consumers to the electric network. It will also contribute to the development of the Karelian Isthmus resort area.
