Venezuela, Falcon State: With an investment of 155,873,947.12 bolivars (approx. $ 25 million), Corpoelec will run construction of the new electrical substations Dabajuro and Mene Mauroa as well as expand the substation Urumaco.

Dabajuro and Mene Mauroa substations will get four new power transformers to benefit more than 200 000 inhabitants of the Falcon State, writes Noticia al Dia.

The Development Manager of Transmission Falcon assigned to the Project Management and Inspection of Works in West Region, Lisbeth Blanco explained that “the purpose of this work is to provide greater operational flexibility and reliability of the national and regional electrical system by installing four 40 MVA power transformers which will be installed in new electrical substations and Mene Dabajuro Mauroa, located in Falcon state. “

“These transformers are the main equipment which will allow operation of these substations. The works are supported by the National Government and the municipalities in Falcon under the direction of Project Management and Inspection of Works Region West,” the source added.
