A generational change at ebm-papst announced
Gerhard Sturm, the founder and co-owner of ebm-papst Group, a German manufacturer of fans and motors, will transfer his membership in the ebm-papst Group advisory board to his son, Ralf Sturm, on 1 August 2017.

“After 65 years of active professional life, I have decided to initiate a generational change,” said Gerhard Sturm.
Sturm ran the company as managing partner until he retired from the operational business in 2007.
