Power Machines wins contract to construct and equip Blagoveshchensk power plant
Russia, Moscow: Power Machines has won an order to build the second stage of the Blagoveshchensk thermal power plant as well as manufacture the necessary equipment. The construction is one of the RusGidro investment programmes.

Russia, Moscow: Power Machines has won an order to build the second stage of the Blagoveshchensk thermal power plant as well as manufacture the necessary equipment. The construction is one of the RusGidro investment programmes.
Power Machines won the order with the 7.2 billion rubles (approx. $ 200 million) quote in December last year.
In accordance with the contract, Power Machines will carry out construction and installation, commissioning works, as well as manufacturing and delivering all the power transformers and other necessary equipment.
After the second stage of the construction is complete, the installed electric capacity of the Blagoveshchensk power plant will increase from 120 MW to 400 MW and thermal power capacity will rise by 188 Gcal/h to 1005 Gcal/h. The completion is expected in 2015.
