Argentina, Colon: The Cooperative of Colonia Caroya and Jesus Maria will invest a little over $ 12 million in the construction of a new power distribution station for these two towns in the Colon department.

To complete the project, the Cooperative signed an agreement with representatives of the Provincial Power Company Cordoba (EPEC) to use the estate belonging to the state agency, writes La Manana de Cordoba. The EPEC will provide a property located on Route 9 where a working transformer station is already located.

The Cooperative intends to install a huge transformer there that will convert 132 kV to 13.2 kV, allowing the distribution to the area with a medium voltage network. In order to materialise the project, the Cooperative obtained a loan to acquire the huge transformer with an estimated 12-month construction period.
